Here is a large village that has about 500 population, 1/3 of the whole island.
This picture is the scene of January 3, in the morning. They celebrate the new year, and going to have an new year greetings, by visiting around each house and families.

We fought against the banana tree for New Year celemony.
I finally called "Banana Fighter", because I fought too much? with banana trees :-)
They are very kindful people.
